On Friday, October 11, 2019, Dr Ian Miller, of the RCSI, Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland facilitated a talk at the Bon Secours Hospital in Cork. The purpose of Dr Miller’s visit was to explain the COLOSSUS project objectives and trial, and the use of the biosamples from the translational trial. This was an effort to encourage COLOSSUS trial recruitment and to give an opportunity to the clinical team to discuss any issues they were having. In attendance were Dr Brian Bird, M.D. Bon Secours Cork Cancer Centre, Research Nurse Aoife O Shea and Cancer Trials Ireland’s, Dr Orla Casey.
